I didn’t watch this show because I wasn’t a fan of Teen Titans Go and I figured this would be the same type of show. After hearing your review, a lot of your complaints for this show are complaints I have with Teen Titans Go.
It’s a shame that this wasn’t better written and funnier, to prove that you can take a different approach to a prosperity and still have it be good. After all, the original Ninja Turtles cartoon is much more comedic and lighthearted than it’s source material, and that’s probably the most well known versions of that property. Space Ghost is another great example, I’m sure most people think of him of a talk show host rather than a superhero. Heh, makes me wonder if the internet was as mainstream as it is today back in 1994 if we would’ve seen the same kind of backlash toward Space Ghost Coast To Coast.
