I gotta admit, I felt nostalgic hearing the old Cartoon Boom theme in your Golden Spoons intro.
You guys watched so many great stuff this year that, to me, there wasn’t a clear-cut winner for Best Overall like there was last year for Infinity Train and Glitch Techs. Close Enough is definitely a good choice and was such a good show that didn’t get the love it deserves.
A lot of your choices were really good, even if I might have picked different winners for some of them, I could at least agree with most of your choices. There was only two I disagreed with and that’s Timon and Pumbaa as most disappointing as I love that show and don’t get the hangup about more modern setting, but oh well, different strokes for different folks. After all, I’m the guy who can’t stand the Inspector Gadget theme song, which was the other one I disagreed with. I just find that theme repetitive and annoying, but you’re right I can’t get it out of my head, no matter how much I desperately want to.
I hope you guys enjoy your break (or at this point, I hope you enjoyed it) and I can’t wait to see what you come back with.
