I didn’t really know anything about this show other than the title sounded vaguely familiar as if I heard it mentioned a few times. So I didn’t really know what I was going into with this show other than it would probably be a comedy, but I ended up really enjoying it and binging through the entire series. This show and its premise kind of reminds me of a more wholesome Invader Zim.
To me, the biggest strength of this show is its characters, most of which are funny, sweet, complex, and relatable. Even characters I didn’t think I would care for, like Lucifer, quickly grew on me once he became part of the main cast. I would say Maou is my favorite character for his surprising devotion to his job and for a good-natured person.
I just found out on the subreddit for this series that a second season was actually announced a few hours ago.
I haven’t watched the Mighty Ducks animated series since it was first on TV and when they first reran it on Toon Disney. So I’m curious to see how it held up.
Yes! The characters in this show were fantastic, especially Maou. Strange to say that SATAN himself was such a friendly, wholesome dude. lol
