  1. I remember watching this show when it first premiered, when Disney premiered the first five episodes in one night (which going back to my comment on Summer Camp Island, probably was a sign that Disney wanted to get rid of this show). I was constantly laughing through every episode they showed that night and it became my favorite Disney cartoon at that time (and they had some good shows at that time, like Kim Possible and The Proud Family). To this day, I consider it Disney’s most underrated series, along with Fillmore.

I’m a little disappoint you didn’t watch any episodes with The Dark Lord Chuckles The Silly Piggy, as he’s such a fun villain. One of his episodes even involves him holding the narrator hostage so he’ll make that he always wins. Still, the episodes you guys covered are some of my favorites that I can’t be too disappointed.

The creator, Doug Langdale, has become one of favorite people working in cartoons, as he was also the main guy in charge of the Earthworm Jim cartoon as well as writing some great Darkwing Duck episodes. Although, you guys did make a mistake in this episode when you said this was the first show he created for Disney. It’s actually his second, the first show he created for Disney was The Weekends (which I have previously recommended to you guys and it’s on your list).

Also, you were close Joseph, but Dave thought being a barbarian meant being a librarian who cut hair, not a veterinarian.

  2. A Librarian, of course!!! But yes, SUCH a good show. Sounds like I need to check out The Weekends, even before we get to it for Cartoon Boom, bc I love this guy’s work. 😁

    • Sorry, it looks like I made a slight mistake, heh, while correcting your mistake. The show is called the Weekenders, not the Weekends. Sorry about that.
