  1. I remember not really giving this show the time of day back when it first premiered. I’d occasionally catch an episode or two but I never really cared for it. After seeing it now though I realize I must’ve had it on in the background and didn’t really pay attention, because now I thought this show was a lot of fun.

Ben makes for a fun hero and I felt his young age actually added to the charm and personality of his character and the show in general. It actually makes me hesitant of the later series where I know that they age him up.

I also like how even though Ben is the one with the powers, Gwen and their grandfather weren’t useless and helped out whenever and however they could.

I never would’ve thought about comparing the art design to that of Bruce Timm, but now that you’ve mentioned I can totally see it (or at least the design style he used starting with the Superman animated series and New Batman Adventures, as Joseph clarified).

It would be nice to see Ben 10 enter the DC Universe, just like WildC.A.T.S did. I’m actually surprised they haven’t at least done a crossover with DC since they’re both owned by Time Warner. You guys mentioned Green Lantern, and while that would be cool to see, I also think a crossover with Shazam would also be really interesting.
