I think you’re selling “Failsafe” short. It did have stakes in the sense that the teammates would’ve been left comatose if they all failed the simulation and failed to realize what was happening. Also, without going into detail, the entire sequence has A LOT of foreshadowing for the rest of the season and season two as well.
Oh yeah, you’re definitely right about that. Since we usually only watch 3 episodes of a show, we don’t always understand the full gravity of a situation, or what sort of foreshadowing it presents to us. Any particular episodes you’d recommend of season 2?
Season two is tricky because it’s VERY serialized compared to season one and it’s basically one big story. But, I guess the most essential ones are “Alienated”, “Depths”, and “Before the Dawn”.
