  1. I never could get into this movie. The main character made all the issue happen. The characters all were annoying IMO. I loved the fact though that Mandark was cast in this movie. The story slapped. Would have been a 10/10 if the characters would have been done a tad differently.

  2. I consider this to be a mid-tier Christmas movie for me. It’s one that I do enjoy watching at Christmas time, but if I happen to miss it or forget about it I usually don’t mind. Although this is one movie I wished I could’ve seen in IMAX, as I’m sure this movie would look amazing on a huge screen like that.

I absolutely love the music in this movie, especially Believe and the little jingle version of it that plays throughout the movie.

The Mandark kid was clearly supposed to learn humility and to be so annoying, and admittedly it does seem to have worked as he calmed down a bit after Santa shut him down and the Conductor pointed out his mistake. However, because he gets the least amount of screentime among these 4 kids, this development just feels kinda rushed.

I believe that there’s a deleted scene for this movie that reveals that the hobo actually died on the train, so that’s actually supposed to be his ghost.
