Time for detention? No, that’s another show entirely, which actually is a good show too but not as good as this show.
To me, this show is the ultimate kid fantasy show. By that I mean that it’s a show you watch that would make you wish that your recess could be like this, and that you could have the type of (admittedly smaller scale) adventures that the characters in this show had.
I like how while the characters fit into a certain type, there’s usually more to them then just that type. For example, Vince is an athlete but we do see that he does have some other interests outside of just sports. Also, while Mikey is a fat kid but food isn’t his dominant character trait. Even the adult characters like Ms. Finster and Principal Prickly are deeper characters than you might think when you first see them.
This is easily one of Disney’s best cartoons. If it’s not in the top 3 then it’s definitely in the top 5.
Agreed! Absolutely at least top 5 for me. It was so fun getting to watch it again and appreciate it on a whole new level!
