This Saturday morning, Joseph and Chris watched Goof Troop, from 1992. This was suggested by Nicholas M. Thanks, Nicholas!
1. First Episode: Everything’s Coming Up Goofy (S1E01)
2. Patreon Pick by (Fernando W.): Close Encounters of the Weird Mime (S1E10)
3. Highest Rated: Nightmare on Goof Street (S1E48)
The classic Disney character Goofy is a single father raising his son, Max, in Spoonerville. Pete, a frequent antagonist from the old cartoons, lives next door with his family.

I’m glad to hear Chris enjoyed Goof Troop, and that Joseph still enjoys it. It may not have had an action/adventure angle like most Disney cartoons were known for at the time, but I’d still rank i quite highly among them. Besides, the sitcom format is a better fit for characters like Goofy and Pete.
I have to agree with Joseph, that theme song is amazing, and one of the best of the 90s (which had a lot of great cartoon intros). Although, I have to agree with Chris that Pete is probably the best character in this show, definitely the funniest. That said, one thing I need to disagree with both of you is that An Extremely Goofy Movie is a good movie, it’s not as good as A Goofy Movie, but it’s still worth watching.
One last thing I’ll mention is that Pete was created for Disney’s The Alice Comedy series in 1925, which is where he used the name Peg-Leg Pete. He actually ended up debuted three years before Mickey Mouse did.
I’ll have to rewatch An Extremely Goofy Movie for a refresher, but had no idea that Pete goes that far back! Thanks for the info, Michael!
