This Saturday morning, for the second episode of our 2021 OCTOONBER celebration, Joseph and Chris watched Costume Quest, from 2019. This was suggested by GamerSlyRatchet1 via YouTube. Thanks, GSR1!
1. First Episode: For the Love of Lincoln (S1E01a)
2. Chris’ Pick: Dry-Cleaners and Dragons (S1E10a)
3. Highest Rated: All Hallow’s Eve (S1E13)
The show stars four kids facing off against the dark forces lurking in the shadows of their sleepy town of Auburn Pines. To overcome obstacles and achieve their goals, they must learn to unlock and master the magical powers of super-normal costumes-with each costume comes a new set of transformations and powers.

As always, I planned on watching this series beforehand to prepare for this episode. However, I kept forgetting about it since the only familiarity I have with the games is that I know they exist. When I did remember it I would keep putting it off until I didn’t have enough time to watch enough of it. So I decided to go in blind for this episode and see what you guys thought of it and if I should watch it. After listening to this review it woulds like I made a mistake. I was expecting this to be a typical comedy show, not that that would’ve been a bad thing, but I’m surprised to hear that there’s actually a story arc to it. I’ll have to check this one out when I got the chance.
