I’ll admit the artstyle did turn me off, as I always thought it looked too much like Family Guy. Although, I always considered myself a casual Scooby-Doo fan so I wouldn’t have rushed out to watch this even if it had the more traditional artstyle.
That said, after Velma came out I saw more people talking about this show and how much they’ve come to appreciate it after finally giving it a chance. I’ve seen a couple of clips that people have been posting lately, and I gotta admit, I thought they were pretty funny and made me want to check out the series. This review only makes me want to check it out more.
From what you guys have said, this does sound like the best Daphnie. Although I will argue that she also had a personality in A Pup Named Scooby-Doo (which has the best version of Fred IMO) where she portrayed as a valley girl, but this definitely sounds more entertaining than that.
