Commonly Answered Questions
Why did Nightmarathon disappear from my feed?
In summer of 2023 a group of individuals with legal representation decided they weren't happy with a clip of music we used in an episode of the Cartoon Boom podcast. Although 'fair-use' exists, it wasn't a strong enough case to provide the show enough protection should the disagreement reach court. As a result, Nerd Sloth decided to pull all episodes of Cartoon Boom and Nightmarathon to edit out all previously used clips. It's a large task, and the episodes will be restored over time.
Are any films off-limits?
NightMarathon will not cover any movies specifically related to abuse. We recognize that many horror films may showcase abuse or worse, but we will not cover movies where that it the purpose or main plot. A Serbian Film is a good example of a movie NightMarathon will not cover.
What is the name of the horror movie Joseph is in?
Joseph can be seen as an extra in the movie VFW from 2019 starring Stephen Lang, William Sadler, Fred Williamson, Martin Kove, and David Patrick Kelly. He can also be heard making the noises of the puppet Doktor Death in Puppet Master: Doktor Death.
What horror films has Dave been involved in?
Dave is known for writing and directing The Dead Hate The Living!, The Hills Run Red, It Watches, Puppet Master: Doktor Death, You Shouldn't Have Let Me In and the opening short from Tales of Halloween titled Sweet Tooth (covered on NightMarathon back in episode 9.)
Is the NightMarathon Theater a real place?
That depends on your definition of real.
Were the hosts really cursed in Season 3?
Joseph and Chris have always been cursed in a sense.
