  1. Like I said before, I actually like this show more than I like the 90’s X-Men cartoon, and while I really enjoy Wolverine and The X-Men, I think I like this show better than that one too. This show just has some of my favorite versions of these characters, like Cyclops, Toad, Rouge, Nightcrawler, and Avalanche.

As for Spyke, I can see where Chris is coming from as I’ve never really cared much for him, but I never really disliked him either. There just wasn’t much that made him stand out as a character until he joined the Morlocks in season 3. That said, I did like his role in the episode where Hank McCoy turned into Beast.

Magik was never in the show, but I thought the reason Colossus was working with Magneto was because he had abducted his family.

There’s not much more I can say in this comment that you guys didn’t say in the episode. Although I did notice one thing that was a bit off. Chris said that season 1 has a lot more of the prejudice toward mutants when that wasn’t the case at all (mutants weren’t even public knowledge in season 1). It was season 3 and 4 where they started to deal with humans prejudice toward mutants.

Also I’m surprised you guys didn’t mention that X-23 was basically the Harley Quinn of this show, in that she was created specifically for this show and then brought into the comics later.

One last thing, happy birthday Chris.
