  1. I just wanted to write and thank you for the favorable review of my son’s comic, Something Terrible. I appreciate you taking the time to share it with your listeners. I feel his powerful story can help so many victims. I am so proud of him for turning such a horrendous act into something good to help others. Thank you again for sharing it.

    • We are very grateful that you, as a mother, were able to see the signs and do something about it. I truly believe that when we go through a traumatic experience in our lives, we either allow it to break us, or learn to cope with it. I too have been there, and went through a series of self-destructive behavior. I was in pain, and in turn I pained those I loved the most, because I didn’t know how to deal with it. Even though there are monsters in this world who can make you feel worthless, I now understand the value of life, and through life I found love. Love for my family, and love for the friends who have gone through hardship as well. Dean did more than just help victims, he brought peace, closure, and hope to future generations. Generations worth saving. We thank you for being his mother, his protector, both his hero and ours.
